The way the skiing is setup is the highlight. The gear is arranged ahead of time. Best to arrive and check in early enough to check the gear before they close the ski shop at 7 pm. That way you are ready to go in the morning. In the morning, you go to the ski room, put on the gear and just walk out the door. Instructors and the mountain are right there. Having the ability to always ski with an instructor is included and invaluable. They have both morning and afternoon sessions. After checking in, go to the ski desk and get setup for lessons based on your skill level. No other arrangements required and you just show up in the morning. Marika and Oscar were excellent instructors.

Highly recommend the exclusive collection. Provides exclusive checking and access to the 8th floor lounge. Among many other benefits.

We did a private excursion to Quebec City and our driver was excellent. Talk to the excursion desk and they will set you up.

The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming and ready to take action. Two of the sommeliers we interacted with were great.

Make sure to read up on what is expected at arrival. I mentioned checking the ski gear above. Make note of when the service desks are open for the different activities based on your interest. If you have small children the expectations for gear and the kids club/instructors is different so make sure to understand that before arriving.

My family just had an absolutely wonderful Christmas vacation at Club Med Quebec-Charlevoix. The hotel is absolutely lovely. We stayed in a Exclusive Collection room in building A. It was so pretty, comfortable and immaculate! The views from the room as well as from the whole resort are spectacular. We are not typically cold weather vacationers but I think Club Med Quebec-Charlevoix has converted us all! The team made everything so easy and enjoyable. The ski instructors are fantastic and we especially loved Oscar! None of us are great skiers and our sons were first time skiers. Oscar was so knowledgable, helpful, patient, and nice! Pierre was so welcoming and helped our whole family get setup for success skiing by getting us put into the right level classes and showing us what we'd need to do in the morning. I also saw Pierre and so many other instructors with little ones in the kids club, including my nephews and I was amazed at how kind they were and patient with groups of little ones and how skilled they are at not only teaching skills but at keeping everyone positive and happy, having fun all along the way!

The food was consistently delicious and the dining area is super ample and easily accommodates large families. What a special occasion they made for everyone for Christmas Eve! The shows at the theater in the afternoons and evenings were fun and there was something for everyone each day.

Vicky at the 8th floor concierge was an absolute angel helping us with everything through our trip. She even pulled off a last minute, Christmas Eve request from us. I'd brought along a tiny little Christmas tree for our room for our kids and my brother's kids but I'd forgotten the batteries for the lights. Not the end of the world by any means but I asked Vicky if she could find a set of batteries for us and within an hour or two she found me in the theater area and had batteries in hand! There were so many Club Med teammates who made our stay extra special and I now wish I'd written down every name b/c it was easily a dozen people or more who went above and beyond to make our holiday extra special! The gentlemen in the ski shop were so nice and helpful to us, the teammates in the locker room alway happy to help and had coffee and treats ready to go when guests came in for a warm up.

Emil, our driver for our Quebec City tour was fantastic! He made the whole excursion so much fun for everyone in the car! Absolutely loved it!

Thank you to the entire team! This was a very special trip for our family and we all agree one of our BEST EVER vacations. We can't wait to return and we are already looking at calendars to see when we can do it again.

LATE ENTRY- Stayed at this resort for 6 nights the first week of Sept/25.
First time staying at a Club Med, it was a wonderful vacation and I would definitely return or try other Club Med location. All-inclusive resorts are rare in Canada so we really enjoyed not having to worry about paying as we go. The resort is fairly new having opened in 2021. It’s an ideal place for the fitness enthusiasts as they offer a variety of exercise classes daily, and other activities depending on the time of year. It seems to primarily be a ski resort but during the off-seasons, they offer guided mountain bike tours, group hiking tours and gondola rides for the mountain which was included in our stay. You can also hike on your own, there are numerous trails in mountain Le Massif de Charlevoix behind the resort.
There’s a gym, indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and more hot tubs and saunas available in the spa if you purchase a spa service. There’s also daily shows and activities offered in the theatre which is where the main bar is located. It’s very much a family friendly resort with a kids club and teen club.
They have fun dress code themes each night (not mandatory) which you can check ahead of time before your arrival to help with packing. Once your trip is booked, I suggest downloading the app as it has useful info like a countdown to your arrival, dress codes, activities and resort info which is handy while you are there.

FOOD:
They have the main restaurant (Le Marché) which is a buffet for all 3 meals. There’s always variety and dishes are labelled but staff were always helpful if we had questions. We noticed there were a bit more options on days when the resort had more guests. Le Chalet is a gourmet lounge with a bar and they offer snack foods in between the buffet hours. You will never go hungry as there seemed to be food available constantly. The main theatre had snacks in the afternoon also. The only thing I noticed is Le Chalet closed around the same time as Le Marché so I’m not sure if any snacks were available late at night since the main bar was open until 12:30pm. We never stayed out late enough to find out.

ROOM:
We booked a Superior room which was perfect for 2 of us. It had ample storage and benches to hold your luggage, a small couch, our balcony was smaller with only 1 chair and table but some rooms seemed to have bigger balconies. Room can be converted into 1 king bed or 2 single beds. Worth mentioning is the shower tub in our room was very deep, meaning it could be challenging for some people to get in & out depending on their height or level of mobility. I heard other guests mention their bathroom was accessible friendly with walk-in shower and lower sink.

PROS:

• Hand sanitizer in numerous locations around the resort, especially in the buffet area
• Many activities offered
• The Chief of Village (General Manager) Harrison was the most involved superior I’ve ever seen. From hosting night shows to participating in the shows, to cooking crepes some mornings and always happy to talk with guests.
• Staff wear name tags indicating the language they speak
• Staff were very friendly and happy to help
• Variety of food at the buffet for all meals
• There’s a security gate upon arrival prior to driving up to the main building.

CONS:

• There’s a free parking lot which is great but it’s a walk from the resort. Drop off your luggage first and go park after, you won’t want to drag everything all that way.
• Locker room for the pool is extremely confusing to enter. Be prepared to walk through a changing stall (while hoping not to barge in on someone changing) to enter the main locker room and you’ll have access to lockers, bathrooms, open shower, access to pool.
• No à la carte restaurants like you might find at tropical resorts.
• Some rooms are far from the main building with the restaurants, theatre, and amenities but the sections are all connected indoors.

It was a long drive from New York but great roads and a safe easy trip . The facilities were comfortable, nicely appointed for the time of year. We definitely felt like we were in a lodge. The room was comfortable and clean. Meals we plentiful. Bar staff was fabulous. Big shout out to Eduardo. Super friendly, made great recommendations and td us all about the Club Med family. Skiing was great although Mother Nature was a bit unfriendly with the cold temperatures. We will be back!!

This is my family’s winter vacation at club med and it exceed our expectations. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very enjoyable to all members in my family despite having 2 picky eaters. The ski mountain was massive and not too full. My daughter and I really enjoyed the exercise classes (shout out to Sam). Highly recommend. We plan on coming back
